During the COVID-19 Pandemic process, the most important steps of the diagnosis and treatment phase are the emergency services and triage areas. The relevance of a good emergency service and triage team was once again understood during the Pandemic process.
A webinar titled "COVID-19 Suspected Patient Triage in the Emergency Service: Pandemic Special" was held on Friday, September 25th, 2020, under the coordination of Bezmialem Vakıf University Nursing Department. Bezmialem Vakıf University Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department academician Assoc. Dr. Yazile Sayın and Istinye University Faculty of Health Sciences Nursing Department academician Prof. Neriman Akyolcu.
In the first session of the webinar, which was held in two sessions with over 300 participants, Assoc. Dr. Saide Faydalı shared their knowledge and experience with the participants. The moderator of the session was Prof. Neriman Akyolcu. In the second session of the webinar, with his presentation titled 'Taking a Sample from a Suspected COVID-19 Emergency Patient', Dr. Özcan Erdoğan shared his views, while the moderator of the session was Assoc. Dr. Yazile Sayın. The webinar ended after the closing speeches.
