In the article, which includes the information shared by our Rector Prof. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu, it was stated that the developments in China, where the first cases of COVID-19 were seen, were followed closely by our University from the very beginning. It was stated that the Pandemic Board, which includes academicians from different departments, was established in our hospital.

It was stated that after the first cases were seen in Turkey, some areas in our hospital were reorganized, a triage area was determined with all patients outside the hospital building, and the admission and treatment processes were carried out by questioning the contact history of all patients.

Our Rector Prof. Rümeyza Kazancıoğlu also spoke about our university education, where the necessary transformation was maintained during the pandemic. Stating that educational activities in our faculties are carried out in the form of online education, our Rector also shared information about simulation videos, education portals and online exam processes.
